1. Data controller

The party responsible for the processing of personal data collected through the website is the Measurement and Evaluation Group of the University of Valencia, as part of the EVALCOMPLIN research project.

2. Purpose of processing

The personal data collected through the website will be processed for the following purpose:

• Respond to enquiries, suggestions or requests sent by users.
• Manage the voluntary participation of educational centres, teachers, families or professionals in the framework of the EVALCOMPLIN project.
• Report on progress, activities and results related to the project.
• To comply with the traceability and transparency requirements established in the regulations on ethics and scientific research.

3. Legal basis

The processing of personal data is based on:

• The free, specific, informed and unambiguous consent of the persons concerned.
• The fulfilment of a mission carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of public powers conferred on the University of Valencia, in its capacity as a public research institution.
• The current regulations on research and education.

4. Data storage

The data will be kept for the time necessary to fulfil the purposes for which they were collected and, subsequently, for the legally established periods for the conservation of scientific and academic documentation.

5. Communication of data

The transfer of personal data to third parties is not envisaged, except when legally required or when necessary for the fulfilment of purposes directly related to the research project, always guaranteeing the anonymity and confidentiality of the information.
In no case shall international data transfers be made without the express consent of the person concerned.

6. Rights of persons concerned

Users may exercise the following rights:

• Access to their personal data.
• Rectification of inaccurate data.
• Deletion of data when it is no longer needed.
• Limitation of or opposition to processing.
• Data portability, where technically possible.

The University of Valencia and the EVALCOMPLIN project team have adopted the necessary technical and organizational measures to guarantee the security of the personal data processed, in accordance with the principle of proactive responsibility established in the GDPR.
